This Bubbleseek Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") applies to the Bubbleseek financial information aggregation service (hereinafter referred to as "Bubbleseek" or "the Service") provided by Bubbleseek and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us"). Please read this Policy carefully before using the Service to understand how we process your personal information.

This Policy applies to the Bubbleseek web application, desktop applications (Mac/Windows), and products and services provided through innovative forms that may emerge with technological development.

Important Notice: This Service is not available to users in Mainland China. If you are located in Mainland China, please do not use this Service.

1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

  • Google OAuth: With your authorization, we will obtain your public information on the Google platform (user ID, nickname, avatar, email address) to create and identify your Bubbleseek account.

If you do not provide the above information for registration and login, we may not be able to provide you with complete service functionality.

2. Financial Information Services

When you use the financial information aggregation service, the following data is only stored locally on your device and will not be uploaded to our servers:

  • Saved news and information
  • Read status records
  • User preference settings

3. AI Conversation Feature

When you use the AI conversation feature, we will collect the content you input during your interaction with the AI (including text information). We will analyze and process this information to provide you with intelligent conversation services.

  • AI conversation history is stored locally on your device
  • We recommend that you do not actively input your personal sensitive information in AI conversations

4. Operations and Security

To ensure the safe operation of the service and the quality and efficiency of operations, we will collect your device and usage information as network logs:

  • Device information: operating system type and version, device identifier
  • Application information: application version number
  • Network information: IP address, network type
  • Usage information: feature usage, error logs (without personal identification information)

We use Mixpanel for product analytics, collecting only anonymous usage data to improve product experience.

2. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

1. Use of Cookie Technology

We collect and use your information through cookies and store such information as log information. Our purposes for using cookies include:

  • Remember your identity: Cookies help us identify you as a registered user
  • Ensure service security: Cookies help us identify malicious users or malicious access behavior

Our web application uses localStorage to store:

  • Login status and authentication tokens

  • Favorites and read status

3. Clearing Cookies

Most browsers provide users with the ability to clear browser cache data. You can perform the corresponding data clearing operation in the browser settings. If you clear them, you may not be able to use services or features that rely on cookies.

We highly value users' privacy and personal information protection and will take reasonable measures to protect users' personal information. We have adopted security measures that meet industry standards, including:

The Internet is not an absolutely secure environment. We strongly recommend that you do not send personal information through unencrypted means. 1. Storage Location

Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers outside your country/region. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection regulations.

We only retain your personal information for the period necessary to provide our services:

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days after account deletion
  • Usage data: Retained for up to 2 years after anonymization
  • Local data: Controlled by you, can be cleared at any time

If you cancel your account or the necessary period expires, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.

We do not actively collect personal information from minors under 16 years of age. If we discover or receive feedback that we have collected personal information from a minor without prior parental consent, we will try to delete the relevant information as soon as possible.

10. Governing Law

The conclusion, execution, interpretation of this Privacy Policy and the resolution of disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China. In case of disputes, both parties should try to resolve them through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party has the right to file a lawsuit with a court of competent jurisdiction in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
